The Ship of Fools (Das Narrenschiff) is a satirical allegory by Sebastian Brant published in Switzerland 1494. It is the satire of the phenomena of human life. Brant´s human is foolish and insatiable and our society is like a drifting ship without captain and without a course. Very little has changed since Brant’s time.

Fools have all human faults.
